Abstract
The paper is devoted to the development of the Traffic Engineering Fast ReRoute model with the support of policing features. The novelty of the model is the use of modified flow conservation conditions, which take into account the possibility of limiting network traffic (Traffic Policing) with its probable overload caused by both increasing network load and the introduction of resource redundancy to provide fast rerouting with bandwidth protection. Innovations also touched on the optimality criterion of routing solutions aimed at both balanced using of the network resource and load limitation in accordance with the priority of flows that transmitted to the edge routers of the network. In the numerical example, the operability of the model and the adequacy of the results obtained on its basis have been demonstrated.
