Abstract
This chapter gives the readers an overview of the body postures and productivity aspects in craft. It discusses the ergonomic aspects of different traditional ways of working in the craft sector with specific emphasis on how they are to be supported and not abolished. The chapter takes the readers through the ergonomic issues in hand tool design in craft with emphasis on enhanced productivity and ways to minimise accidents in manufacturing of craft products. The chapter closes with a note on consideration for the users who would buy the craft products.
