Under the impact of the modern culture, the traditional rural culture, and long history of folk customs from erosion, people often ignore the local and folk of the plain beautiful landscape. How to get the perfect combination of art, garden art and country create a nation’s own design work, both leisure and life function, became new direction of researches.By the Lingnan traditional rural landscape design theory and practice research, reduction and update of “nature and humanity”, the relationship between human, nature, people, and serene, beautiful and peaceful customs, geomantic aesthetics culture is closely related to the rural ecological mode of production and rural life and so on, the derive from the profound traditional culture nutrients, this will provide the countryside cultural reconstruction in our country with solid foundation, thus guide to new rural construction with Chinese characteristics. In addition, through the rustic, pastoral and “integration of nature and man” rural landscape, the wisdom of ecological cycle inherited from traditional villages based on respect for nature and integration is applied to the landscape design of traditional villages in Lingnan.
