Abstract

This essay presents certain occurrrences of the animus as a Jung archetype in three folk narratives: a) Tabubu And Satni; b) `Play girl'; c) La Belle Dame San Merci. In all three cases presented, the female protagonist projects Maslow’s “high dominance” pattern, in reference to food and to sexuality.
