Abstract

Female college Ss were administered a role choice questionnaire and indices for failure needs in the feminine and masculine domains. It was hypothesized that traditional role choice would entail a concomitant need for failure in the masculine domain and that the need for feminine failure would follow non-traditional role preference. Results supported the hypothesis.
