Abstract

Every nation, state, region or region in a small scope like a village must have different traditions, cultures, customs or customs, this difference is a blessing from Allah. The tradition is also a local wealth owned by the nation, must always be preserved, preserved and also maintained so that the tradition is not extinct or destroyed. No exception the traditions that exist in the land of Java, many forms of tradition carried out by Javanese people such as the slametan tradition, both in the context of the slametan event of pregnancy, marriage, circumcision or the tradition of death slametan. Each of these traditions has certain methods of implementation, although there are also traditions in their implementation having the same method. Slametan tradition carried out by Javanese people in particular is the same as alms in the context of the Arabic language. So in a number of propositions both sourced from the Koran and sourced from the hadith are not mentioned and explained in detail so that each region or region has a way and form a particular dish so that it is not the same form of dishes between Indonesia and Arabic, so is not the same between the form of anatar dishes East Java and Central Java, Anatar Bali and Sumatra, between Kalimantan and Sulawesi and others. Why is that, because this is influenced by the topography, history and also the hierarchy of each region or region. However, the context of the magnitude is the same alms but only a different form.
