Abstract

This paper describes the analog simulation developed to evaluate a digital control program. The digital pro gram is a doppler prediction program which updates a ground transmitter so that the input frequency to an airborne transponder is held constant. It describes the simulation of the transmitter, re ceiver, transponder and the air-to-ground links be tween the transponder and the transmitter and re ceiver. One of the unique features of the simulation is the dynamic time delay between the transponder and its ground stations. The simulation is an example of direct modeling of the real-time transfer functions.
