Abstract

Through evaporation induced self assembly (EISA) method pristine (mpALS) and titania doped mesoporous aluminosilicate (mpALST) samples have been synthesized with the latter exhibiting some sort of self assembly of channels. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrum of the titania doped sample suggests the presence of variety of defect complex(es). Opto-impedance results of these solids indicate that in the titania doped mpALS there exists a unidirectional migration of photo generated charge carriers that may be of importance in photolysis applications.
