Abstract

This article evaluates the perceived connection between the religious radicalism that emerged in Indonesia following the establishment of the new, independent Republic, and the development of new groups associated with terrorist activities in recent decades. Tracing the historical development of religious radical movements in the country through to the present day, this article seeks to elaborate and analyze the interconnections of religious radical movements that occur in Indonesia and their relationship with global radicalism. This article uses a qualitative method based on library research.
