Abstract

There are only a few verses in the Qur’ân about Job, but many details of his story are not presented by the Sacred Text of Islam. Only the knowledge of the Bible and the Jew tradition can make readers understand them. In many occasions, we note that translators wrote unconsistent or wrong versions, even after reading Qur’anic Commentaries. It is true that translation is always a sort of interpretation, but sometimes it seems that someone forgot that any real scientific work is more perspiration than inspiration.
