Abstract

An example of a simple second order ordinary differential equation with power type nonlinearity that possesses two finite fixed singular points is presented. Around these points there are local analytic solutions. These two solutions can be used to construct global analytic solution that connects these two singular points. Some concepts and motivation to general theory of a wider class of the equations that is based on results of papers [2] and [9] will be presented.
