Abstract

AbstractEvidence-based asset management aims at making right decisions and optimizing asset management processes with best available information. Asset information systems are widely applied in industrial companies to collect and store asset related data. However, competence and experience of people, - i.e. tacit knowledge - has a crucial role in the decision-making. In this paper, we discuss information transfer, usability of current IT-systems and data utilization in daily tasks of different user groups.
