Abstract

The need to be socially aware during interventions presents academic researchers with a set of commitments which can he difficult to put into practice in the ‘real world’. This paper presents an attempt to extend critical practice in a small company undertaking a Teaching Company Scheme project. Some general lessons for interventions in small companies are drawn out.
