Abstract

Large area graphene has been studied for several years now. In order to get most of its outstanding properties, graphene has to been free of imperfections and contamination that are usually introduced in the growth and transfer process. In this work High Strength Metallurgical Graphene transfer process is investigated. Study is focused on the wet transfer method using different types of etching reagents and their influence on graphene layer. The samples are tested using several research technics identifying impurities, morphology, resistance, etc. The study of polymer matrix removal with different types of organic solvents and thermal annealing is conducted as well. Additionally, the influence of storage conditions is investigated.
