Abstract

The goal of this paper is to study an automatic system for all the motions of aircraft on the ground, from the exit from the landing runway to the gate and then to the threshold of the take-off runway. This idea was suggested in previous work, particularly in order to perform a rendezvous between this system and in the future aircraft. First, a simple model is considered, which turns out to be a mobile robot model. Some control laws are derived in such a way that the prescribed trajectories can be tracked.
