Abstract
We have considered some problems of information theory, mainly in relation to a set of disciplines related both to science and the humanities. All our efforts were directed towards building a general foundation common for different branches of human activity, as if these branches have grown from a common root, i.e., the above foundation. As for the essence of this foundation — it is information and the way it functions, which seems quite natural from the gnoseological point of view: all objects that we can observe around us and study (using either scientific methods, means of art, or simply common sense) exist for us only because of their definite temporal stability. This, in turn, is caused by the fact that the structure of these objects is more or less stable, since the information (struggling with the entropy) helps to maintain this structure.KeywordsHuman ActivityInformation TheoryEveryday LifeCommon SenseTemporal StabilityThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
