Toward new coordination environments and molecular architectures using F8BINOL, an electron‐poor isostere of BINOL

Abstract

AbstractStructural study of the Ti(Oi Pr)4/F8BINOL interaction demonstrates that F8BINOL, an isostere of BINOL with significant electronic perturbation, leads to novel complexes with cubic Ti4O4 cores and bridging, rather than commonly observed chelating, arrangements of the diolate ligands.
