Abstract

Cloud computing nowadays offers multiple web services for use; these web services could do the same functionalities but may differ in quality of service. Providers tend to offer more complex web services through combining raw web services from the cloud. Therefore, a significant research problem is how to select the best candidate service from a collection of services and to take into account the respect of service level agreement made by the customer and the provider. In our paper, we propose a composition model based on SaaS that takes both QoS of service and cloud environment into consideration. We also propose a web service composition approach based on genetic algorithm for web services in order to minimize the SLA violations.
