Abstract

Toward Arbitrary Spin-Orbit Flat Optics via Structured Geometric Phase Gratings In article number 2200800, Peng Chen, Zhi-Han Zhu, Yan-Qing Lu, and colleagues demonstrate a new type of flat-optics elements, termed structured geometric phase gratings, capable of complex-amplitude control with polarization switchable behavior. Such an advanced spin-orbit device, compared with the present elements, unlocks the control of paraxial structured light in all spatial dimensions and paves the way towards arbitrary SOC conversion via flat optics.
