Abstract

AbstractAn instrument was developed to assess the relative student-centeredness of junior high and middle school teachers. The final 16-item semantic differential version had a reliability coefficient of .83. It correlated .47 (substantial relationship) with principals’ judgments of the student-centeredness of individuals on a junior high school faculty.
