Abstract

Abstract. The article presents an analysis of long-term experience of the students` training aspects in sports tourism in the Tourist club of the Altai state University. The reasons for the development of sports tourism in a non-core University are identified; resources for the development of sports tourism are identified and considered; the activity of the Tourist club as a form of physical and sports development of students is analyzed; the students` sport achievements are characterized; aspects of students` training were revealed. One of the main tasks of the Russian national social policy is the health promotion of the citizens, including the student youth. At university physical education can be conducted by means of tourism as a kind of sport. The aim of the exploration is the analysis and identification of the students` training aspects in sports tourism in Altai State University. Within the framework of the exploration the following methods were used: theoretical analysis, synthesis, practical experience generalization, pedagogical observation, questionnaire survey. As a result of the analysis made the following aspects of students` training were revealed. 1. Within the framework of the Altai State University Tourist Club activity the practical students` training is being performed. The training may be illustrated in the form of the model included the following components: the factors of the tourism development, tourism resources, the participants of the tourism training. 2. The factors of the sports tourism development in the Altai State University are the activity of the Institute of Geography and the development of the geographical education, the special features of Altai Krai geographic location, the development of the region travel industry. 3. Following tourism resources have been identified: human, methodic, non-human, organizational. 4. The dynamics of the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the Tourist Club students` sports development is positive.
