Abstract
In the paper, unique karst lakes in high mountains, snow-covered mountains, glaciers, rare animals and plants are discussed. These landscape resources of nature and man in the NW part of Sichuan are superior for tourism. In addition, distribution of tourist regions and their characteristics are reviewed. The authors also evaluate landscape resources, and put forward some proposals about exploitation and conservation of scenic resources in the NW part of Sichuan province.
