Abstract
AbstractThis paper reviews the findings of a survey on the use of quality management techniques in Hong Kong industry and its investment in China. It reflects the attitude of industry towards the new quality management concepts, particularly ISO 9000. The second part of the paper reports some observations of auditing some companies in Hong Kong and south China and discusses the weaknesses of the quality systems in these areas.
