Abstract
In previous paper a modified Taylor-Kalman-Fourier (TKF) filters was proposed to estimate the dynamic phasor and time varying harmonic components under non-steady state conditions in power systems, In this paper a new TKF filter method to reduce the THD in proposed. A modified multiharmonic signal model leads us to design more robust filters because the frequency response shown that the harmonic bands improve as result of their flatness and interharmonics lobules are minimized. A mathematical signal model is developed with a factor escalate in all set of harmonics, except in the fundamental frequency. Also with proposed method is possible achieve better estimation that the TKF filters when the signal is corrupted by harmonics.
