Abstract

Total Facilities Management (FM) is being hailed as the solution for the 1990s, but is the ‘one stop shop’ treatment the right route for health care management? This article argues that the sector is too specialist for a total FM approach and recommends a separate focus on hard, soft and specialist FM divisions as the way forward.
