Abstract

A 57-year-old woman presented with first onset syncope, which was witnessed by her family members. It occurred in the middle of a conversation and lasted for 30 seconds, followed by spontaneous and prompt recovery. There was upward rolling of eyeballs with no witnessed tongue biting, jerking of limbs or urinary incontinence. There was no family
