Abstract

The Double Motors Drive System (DMDS) is wildly used in production or scientific research areas, and the coordinated control problem of DMDS is the crucial factor determining its development and application. Based on two new control strategies, this paper focused on the torque balance control problem of DMDS, comparatively analyzed the control effects of traditional PI control algorithm and exponential reaching law Variable Structure Sliding Mode Control (VSSMC) algorithm. Finally, Experiment and simulation results demonstrated that the exponential reaching law VSSMC algorithm could help the system achieve better tracking performance.
