Abstract

Topology optimization is a kind of optimization method to seek structure material optimum assignment according to loads, constrains and optimal object. Combining the topology optimization technology with the finite element technique, Hyper Works 10.0 software platform was used for the topology optimization design of a radiometer azimuth turntable in this paper. The mass, the natural frequency and the maximum equivalent stress of the optimized design were compared with the original design through the finite element analysis, research showed that, the mass of the turntable was greatly reduced and the structure stiffness was improved as well after the optimization. The lightweight design of the azimuth turntable had been realized in this paper, and the research had a great reference value for the engineering practice.
