Abstract

The specific features of cartographic images are considered from the point of view of procedures for assessing the situation in the area of maritime transport activity and spatial planning. The tasks of spatial analysis are highlighted, requiring a transition from cartographic to topological mapping of geographic reality. The existing anamorphic techniques, their classification as well as their advantages and disadvantages are considered. Models for constructing anamorphosis of the terrain for topologising the geoimage of real situation have been developed. An algorithm based on affine transformation, based on the distortion of the boundaries of the area relative to the centre of mass of the region, is proposed. A comparison of the proposed algorithm with the applicable Gastner-Newman algorithm is given.
