Abstract

Topological Photonics on a Small Scale In article number 2100065, Dmitry V. Zhirihin and Yuri S. Kivshar review the recent advances of smallscale topological photonics. It is demonstrated that topological photonics can be realized in a verity of nanostructures including arrays of Mie-resonant dielectric nanoparticles and polaritonic systems with a nontrivial topological phase. The image represents a higher-order topological state in the photonic kagome lattice.
