Abstract
In this work the molecular connectivity indices calculated and are weighted by Mulliken and Lowdin (in parentheses) bond orders. We considered six simple hydrocarbons (ethane, ethene, propane, propene, 2-methylpropane, and 2-methlypropene) to try to relate these values to a physical property (in this paper to molecular volume) in order to establish a relation between the quantities.
