Abstract
There are values that form the national identity of each community and several values that the community makes the community. These values are located within the oral cultural heritage of the community They should both oraly transmitted to future generations through a variety of writing genres. Virtuous behavior of individuals in the community as a whole mentioned among the most important aspects of their relationship with each other that gains value, carries a guideline in terms of the future of society. The ancestors of fundamental justice embraced a nation formed as a result of the experience through a lengthy process as primitive as a general rule and in society by adopting traditional proverbs defined as words criticized mold protection within the social value and this value has a rich content in transmission to future generations. In this paper, love, respect, tolerance, brotherhood, solidarity, honesty, hospitality, humility, justice, equality, hard work, sacrifice, compassion, responsibility and so on. Turkish proverbs will be examined in the context of social values. Proverbs will be classified according to the social values that include social values and the forward will be determined in proverbs. Furthermore, the results obtained will be evaluated using tables and graphs.
