Biomaterials significantly improve the quality of life of millions of people who, otherwise, would be condemned to limitations in the performance of activities or yet, to death [1,2,3]. Prominent among these biomaterials are the nanogels, microgels, and macrogels making up the polymeric hydrogels, which, as drug carriers, have been the targets of research.
