Abstract

A double-blind study was done to evaluate a solution of topical thiabendazole for the treatment of creeping eruption. Thiabendazole in dimethylsulfoxide applied topically favorably alters the natural course of creeping eruption and is as effective as the drug administered orally. The vehicle, dimethylsulfoxide, has no effect on the course when compared to placebo tablet therapy.
