Abstract

To the Editor: Mucosal lesions greatly influence the quality of life in a substantial proportion of patients with pemphigus vulgaris (PV). Lesions are recurrent and frequently resistant to therapy. 1 Scully C. Paes De Almeida O. Porter S.R. Gilkes J.J. Therefore, not only the use of systemic steroid-sparing drugs is important, but also the search for effective nonsystemic topical therapies. We report the use of topical sirolimus in 3 patients with PV and predominant oral mucosal involvement.
