Abstract

SUMMARY Sixteen patients with different types of vitiligo were treated with topical Neosoralen followed by exposure to sun. A complete repigmentation of the vitiliginous areas was recorded in two cases, partial regression of lesions was recorded in 12 cases, while no response to treatment was found in two cases. No untoward cutaneous effects were noticed. The topical therapy with Neosoralen is therefore considered useful, especially in localised areas of vitiligo.
