Abstract

In this letter we investigate whether the extension of the standard model into the SP (6) L⊗ U(1) Y family model can significantly change the renormalization group predictions of m 1 and m H , under the compositeness condition at some ultraviolet cutoff Λ. We found, quite surprisingly, that for realistic values of the flavor scale Δ (10 4−10 5GeV) and for very large Λ (⪆ 10 15 GeV) , m t and m H are lowered only slightly from their standard model values.
