Abstract

Selected CDF top quark physics results in Run I and expectations for the upcoming Tevatron run beginning 2001 (Run II) are summarized. Running at [Formula: see text] and higher luminosity, the number of top quarks produced will be greatly increased in Run II. The upgraded CDF detector will significantly increase the acceptance for top events. These factors will substantially increase top yield that will not only improve the precision of current top production and decay measurements, but will provide exciting opportunities for new top physics studies.
