Abstract

Customer satisfaction is an important factor in the measurement of success in today's business environment (1–4). Thus, the management philosophy of the 1990s is to keep a customer-driven focus. This philosophy involves the customer in developing and monitoring quality, as well as enhancing products and services in businesses from banks to restaurants and everything between. School foodservice and nutrition programs are no exception. Many school foodservice and nutrition programs have found that student satisfaction is related to participation and financial stability (5–11).
