Abstract

EEG has not stopped here and as the small world architecture of the brain connectome is now very obvious, even more sophisticated information gathering methods and network flow analysis software is able detect abnormalities in functional architecture that opens a real cheap and non traumatic gateway to psychiatric neuropsychopathology. Conclusion.— It is clear that EEG not only deserves it’s place in clinical psychiatry but it also fulfils Berger’s dream as a window not on the soul but on the network connectome. It is still EEG, Jim but not as Hans knew it.
