Abstract
AbstractThis chapter presents tools and information required to carry out rapid market assessments and review the livestock value chains that the people in the livestock sector are part of. The chapter also includes a very brief review of the economic concepts behind markets. Also discussed are various tools for assessing state-level investments in the livestock sector.
