Abstract

The uniqueness of design thinking are its nonlinear iterative processes and the various teams working on design thinking emphasizing to understand users, the challenging assumptions they make, and then arriving at prototype and testing. This chapter explains the principles of design thinking and its phases, and it also illustrates the various methods and tools available for design thinking. An attempt is also made to illustrate the application of Design Thinking as a process for research and how it can be used in an organizational context. The various steps involved in the process of Machine Learning and Deep Learning are touched upon. At the end, it is concluded that the data that we collect for any design thinking will be much simplified with the use of various tools provided in the chapter, and mostly the tools at the relevant phases are provided so that the users can reap the benefits of the usage of tools to simplify the process of design thinking.
