Abstract

In this paper, the reflector antenna of sub-millimeter wave radiometer in large aperture is simulated by using Grasp9. The effects of the displacement of the reflector antenna on the electrical performance of the antenna system are explored. Under the requirement of FY-4 satellite, the range of position and angle changes of the sub-reflectors of the antenna system are obtained, which provides a reference for the performance analysis and prediction of the antenna sub-system in the process of installation and operation. It is concluded that the main beam efficiency and the main beam pointing offset of the far-field pattern of antenna can meet the requirements of the system when the position and angle changes of the first sub-reflector are controlled within ±1.5mm and ±0.05° respectively, and the position and angle changes of the second sub-reflector are controlled within ±3 mm and ±0.05° respectively.
