Abstract
Product performance depends not only on design parameters but running environment as well, to guarantee the proper functioning of products, the impact of working condition was taken into account in tolerance analysis. On the basis of analyzing the impact of working conditions on assembly function, through extending and modifying Jacobian-Torsor model, Jacobian-Torsor and practicality based mathematic model was proposed, the assembly error resulted from working conditions can be calculated, and the calculation of percentage contribution to assembly error from impact factors was presented. This makes it possible to forecast product performance and find out critical tolerances. Finally, an example was given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
