Abstract

Based on the theory of reliability and probability, taking into account the performance testing of mainline diesel locomotives at the Havast locomotive depot, a new methodology has been proposed regarding the frequency of performing a certain amount of repair work performed during the maintenance and routine repair of contactors for electrical equipment of diesel locomotives. The criterion for assessing the technical condition of an electrical contact under operating conditions is the quantitative characteristic of the contact surface in the form of the amount of burnt or melting of the contactors in the area of their contact with each other. Indicators of the frequency of technical maintenance during the repair of various types contactors of electrical equipment of mainline diesel locomotives are obtained in the form of tabular data, taking into account temporary recommendations for organizing their repair production. The results of the study are recommended for implementation into the practice of linear enterprises of the locomotive complex of the Uzbek Railway.
