Abstract

Studies by Veit, Martin, and others have already shown that in many cases the tube gives birth to an egg in a free or encapsulated abdominal cavity; so that the prevailing scholarship for a long time, according to which a tubal pregnancy because of a physiological discrepancy between a growing egg and a fruit storage, always ends in a pipe rupture, is now almost all recognized as false, at least for the first three months of pregnancy.
