Abstract

E-resources enable for innovation in teaching, enhance the timeliness in research, and increase in the discovery and creation of new fields of inquiry. E-resources are available on the Internet, databases and CDs/VCDs at a library, knowledge resource centers etc. Higher education institution and its library play a leading role in providing access to its members in promoting and using e-resources. Academic community, especially the faculty and the research scholars often prefer easy access to databases of online-refereed journals and to the web, which provide information that are minute, international in scope and sometimes not available elsewhere. This study aims to study the frequency, Availability and purpose of using CD-ROMs and Internet resources by the students in Amity University, Jaipur.
