Abstract

Presents the experience of the Ohio Library and Information Network, OhioLINK, when a group of hackers accessed the system in 1994. Discusses the identification and collection of evidence before briefly outlining the learnings from this attack. Concludes the process of catching a hacker is time consuming but the willingness to investigate and prosecute can deter many amateurs.
