Abstract

Trigeminal nerve stimulation (TNS) is effective for the treatment of attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), according to a recent study. The study, published in the April issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, was sham‐controlled, and showed that the effect of treatment with TNS was similar in effect size to treatment with nonstimulants.
