Abstract
A theoretical method for TM-polarized electromagnetic scattering from a periodic strip array on a grounded dielectric is considered in connection with the guided leaky wave. The numerical results of an analysis of plane-wave scattering from the structure are presented and compared with those of previous experimental works. Some characteristics of the Bragg-angle blazing observed in the structure are discussed. ©1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
